| The MatriCyclertm is a high-throughput thermal cycler capable of providing efficient and reproducible PCR amplification in short cycle times with the use of minimal amounts of reaction mixture. The MatriCycler is able to provide quality PCR in times rarely observed due to the rapid ramp rates. Researchers benefit from the innovative design for unmatched ramping speeds, multiple formats support, excellent temperature uniformity, low volume, and automation ready design. |

Product and Technical Information
|
Unprecedented thermal cycling throughputs are now possible with the MatriCycler High Throughput Thermal Cycler. Based on a radically new design concept, the MatriCycler can process up to 384 samples in a single 30-minute run.
Cycle times of 30 to 60 seconds are readily achievable with the MatriCycler technology. The rapid transition times between different temperatures has the added benefit of maximizing the ability to avoid non-specific byproducts and lowers the thermal stress applied to the polymerase. Efficient amplification can be achieved in ˜24 minutes with 35 cycles or ˜21 minutes with 30 cycles providing a DNA concentration comparable to standard 2 to 3 hour PCR reaction settings
Designed to be truly 'automation-friendly' the MatriCycler is capable of complete walk-away automation and can be integrated with most automated liquid handling systems. MatriCycler plates will not warp during cycling, which eliminates the need for plate carriers and insures that post-cycling workup is virtually error free.
