These robotics friendly black gasketed microplate lids are specifically designed for use with MatriPress freezer rack / compression stacker. MatriPress Gasketed lids are light tight to protect sensitive assays and designed for long term sample storage. The MatriPress gasketed lids are designed to cover all wells of a microplate and offer air/liquid tight well to well seals.
For extra sample security use Matrical microplates with the MatriPress freezer rack / compression stacker. Matrical microplates are equipped with a specially molded well edge that allows the MatriSeal gasketed microplate lids to provide a secure, impenetrable seal for the highest level of protection.
MatriPress Sealed Freezer Boxes
Some samples may be extremely air sensitive, Matrical freezer rack / compression stackers can be used with Matrical sealed freezer boxes to provide extra protection.
The Matrical freezer box can be filled with nitrogen, carbon dioxide, helium, or any other inert gas to protect sensitive samples from reacting with the oxygen of the air. Heavy duty door seals and in/out check valves keep the inert gas contained until you are ready to process your samples.
