MatriPress™

Microwell plate storage freezer rack

	The MatriPress freezeer rack provides. reliable long-term storage of valuable compounds in microplates.The MatriPlate has a specially molded well edge that allows the MatriSeal Lid (with sheet gasket) to provide a secure, impenetrable seal for the highest level of protection.

Features:

• Unlike conventional heat seals and sticky films that allow only a limited number of microplate accesses, the MatriSeal lids are robotics friendly and provide unlimited microplate access without damaging the microplates or leaving adhesive residue behind.
• The MatriSeal lid sheet gasket is constructed from a chemically resistant polymer (Dimethylsulfoxide compatible) that, when compressed, provides an air/liquid-tight well-to-well seal that withstands the rigors of both short- and long-term storage to -80°C.
• Extensive testing confirms secure storage for over one year.
• The MatriPress Cassette and Freezer Rack are validated with all MatriCal microwell plates to ensure an air- and liquid-tight seal. All MatriCal plates provide a raised ridge around the well perimeter.
• The Cassette design offers:
  - Variable plate height for sealing.
  - Ease of storage in chest-style freezers.
  - Available in several different standard heights
  
• The Freezer Rack design offers:
  - Random access to individual microwell plates for cherry picking.
  - Ease of storage in up-right freezers with multiple shelves.
  - Available in 60 or 90 plate capacity racks.
