MatriPlate microwell assay and storage plates offer several significant innovations to improve high throughput screening performance. Manufactured from a custom polymer, they do not warp, maintaining exact SBS dimensional specifications at all times. The MatriPlates also incorporate a unique microwell design that dramatically improves sensitivity for fluorescence and luminescence assays. MatriPlates are available in 384-well plate or 1536-well plate formats; in white, black or natural; in polystyrene, polypropylene or in special chemical resistant polymers.
MatriCal glass bottom microplates are ideal for cell-based assays using scanning and confocal imagers. All MatriCal Glass bottom microplates are scratch resistant and include a flat bottom with rounded square wells to eliminate liquid wicking. MatriCal glass bottom microplates are available in 96-well plate, 384-well plate, or 1536-well plate formats. Applications include: fluorescence assays such as laser-induced fluorescence (LIF), Fluorescence Correlation Spectroscopy (FCS); and Nephelometry.
MatriStore™ Automated Compound Storage and Retrieval System

The modular system design offers shortened installation times, reduced overall costs, and the option to grow as your storage needs grow. The MatriStore Compound Management System was developed in collaboration with one of the leading companies in the design and engineering of robust robotic systems for industrial applications. All robotic components have extensive in-use histories and long track records of reliability. Components include a vertical lift module, microwell plate and microtube plate storage system, advanced robotics for the pick and place of samples, 96 and 384-format MatriTube Storage Plates, 96 and 384 MatriTubes, the MatriSeal plate sealing device, and software for linkage into existing Oracle or other databases.

MiniStore™ Automated Compound Storage and Retrieval System
Introducing the MatriStore's little brother, the MiniStore. Boasting a modular design starting with a 5,800 microplate capacity, this expandable storage system was created to fit into smaller lab space. Just like the MatriStore, the MiniStore gives you the ability to store multiple media types within the same system. While it can take 2 technicians 2 weeks to complete 10,000 picks, the MiniStore can achieve this task (unattended) in less than one day. The MiniStore is equipped with our proprietary 2D bar-coded 96 and 384 MatriTube storage plate technology and has environmental control to -20°C. Reliable long-term storage of valuable compounds in microplates can be a significant challenge. The MatriPress Compression Stacker solves this problem with a unique plate and storage sleeve configuration. Microwell plates are compressed in the stacker quickly and easily; special plate lids insure that evaporation is virtually eliminated. Samples in standard microwell plates can be stored for many months without detectable volume loss.
The MatriScan 96 2D bar code scanner is run by MatriScan software on a standard Windows-based PC. Based on an industry standard scanning technology, this compact unit scans one, two or three 96 micro tubeplates at a time. A single 96 tube rack scans in 20 seconds. Advanced productivity features make micro tubeplate loading and scanning simple and fast. MatriScan's export of data to LIMS system can be setup in minutes. The support of a separate bar code scanner for capturing tube rack ID allows accurate scanning operation by a wide range of operators.
Introducing the MatriCutter plate cutter and piercer. This cost effective alternative to microtube caps separates and pierces heat sealed tubes in one integrated system. Validated with the MatriSeal thermal plate sealer, the MatriCutter can cut and pierce a 96 or 384 format micro tubeplates in less than 10 seconds and is ideal for robotic integration.
SQUIRT™ bench top microplate washer technology performs both ELISA and cell-based assays, including gentle washing of adherent cells. Patent pending slit manifold design outperforms competitive washers equipped with conventional clog-prone nozzles. Variable wash angle, dispense speed, and pressure settings allow for wash times under 15 seconds in 96, 384, or 1536 plate formats!
