The Scan X 2D is a universal 2D barcode reader that can operate stand alone or in an automated environment. This compact and user friendly machine is able to operate at temperatures as low as -20o C, allowing tubes to be read inside a compound store and preserving sample integrity. It is able to read SBS/ANSI formatted vial racks (24 capacity) and tube microplates (96 and 384). The MatriScan’s optical lens scans one image of the entire rack allowing for quick turnaround time (15-30 seconds).
